Kentucky Street Drags 5

Sunday 19 November 2000 - There was a pretty good turnout for the race. Somewhere between 150 and 200 cars showed up. Actually, many more showed up than ran the race. Our thanks go out to every person who showed up to run. Congratulations go out in particular to Audra Walker of Street Sports. Although usually running in the power adder class, she did not have any nitrous available and here clutch was about gone. Nonetheless, she felt like she wanted to help represent the shop since she works here. Well we are pleased to announce that she was the last import car running at the end of the day and she won the import normally aspirated class winning a trophy (shown below). To top that off she won a second trophy (being sent this week) by coming runner up in the finals of the entire normally aspirated division against a domestic car. We will be posting some more pictures taken at the event shortly. We also took some digital video that we will try to process for downloading. If anyone out their has any good photos or video available of this or one of the past events, please contact Shawn @ Street Sports during regular business hours at 859/278-7873 or drop an email to webmaster@streetsports.com
